Na3AuO3, KAuO2, RbAuO2, and CsAuO2 have been obtained by heating carefully mixed samples of oxides of the alkaline metals with gold powder. The yellow compounds are partly scarcely (KAuO2), partly immediatly (CsAuO2) decomposed by moisture. They decompose at elevated temperatures forming Au.
Notes:
Na3AuO3, KAuO2, RbAuO2 und CsAuO2 wurden durch Erhitzen inniger Mischungen von Alkalimetalloxid mit Goldpulver unter O2 erhalten. Die gelben, gegen Feuchtigkeit teils kaum (KAuO2), teils besonders (CsAuO2) empfindlichen Verbindungen zersetzen sich bei höherer Temperatur thermisch unter Au-Bildung.
