Note on the Reaction of Alkyl Thiocyanate with OxalylchlorideAlkyl thiocyanates 1 react with oxalyl chloride in presence of BF3 to give N,N'-bis(methylthio-chloromethylene)oxamide (2) or N-(ethylthiochloromethylene)oxamoyl chloride (3). Interaction between 2 and aniline yields new derivatives 5 and 6 of triazepine and imidazoline, respectively.

Alkylthiocyanate 1 reagieren mit Oxalyldichlorid in Gegenwart von BF3 zu N,N'-Bis(methylthio-chlormethylen)oxamid (2) oder zu N-(Ethylthiochlormethylen)oxamoylchlorid (3). Durch Umsetzung von 2 mit Anilin erhält man neue Triazepin- und Imidazolindrivate 5 bzw. 6.
