    Notes: Summary A fluorimetric study of PAHs in β-CD medium has been carried out. Maximum emission of some PAHs is shifted to longer wavelengths and sensitivisation phenomena also occur. This allowed the development of methods for the determination of some PAHs. Benzo(ghi)perylene is determined in the presence of phenanthrene, chrysene, fluorene, acenaphthene and naphthalene, with errors being lower than 2% for a benzo(ghi)perylene:phenanthrene ratio below 1:100. The determination of other pairs is also possible.
