Cyclic Acylimines and Their SaltsHydroxylactames 1 and 2 react with strong proton acids or Lewis acids to form acylimonium salts 3 and 4. The spectroscopic properties of the latter are described. 3-Phenyl-1-isoindolone (7) is prepared from 3-acetoxy-3-phenyl-1-isoindolinone (8) by action of triethylamine.

Die Umsetzung der Hydroxylactame 1 und 2 mit starken Protonen- oder Lewis-Säuren führt zu Acylimoniumsalzen 3 und 4, deren spektroskopische Eigenschaften beschrieben werden. 3-Phenyl-1-isoindolon (7) entsteht aus 3-Acetoxy-3-phenyl- 1-isoindolinon (8) und Triäthylamin bei Raumtemperatur.
