Conclusions 1. In static tension with a sharp notch Rn=0.1 mm and angle of skewing 2 or 4o the strength of alloy V93 drops by 15 and 48%, respectively. This alloy is less sensitive to skewing than alloy V95, and it is similar to alloy AK4-1. 2. When alloy V93 is used in actual structures, special attention should be given to avoid skewing in assembly and undesirable eccentricity in load applications because even slight (0.5o) skewing causes a drop in endurance by 60–75%.
