Conclusions 1. An induction device for electrostimulation of the gastrointestinal tract was developed and tested experimentally. 2. The favorable effect of electrostimulation of the zone of gastroenteroanastomosis, which provides rhythmic movement of the contrast agent from the stump of the resected stomach into the small intestine, was demonstrated. 3. Electrostimulation of the gastroenteroanastomosis improves the process of absorption of food in the gastrointestinal tract. 4. The normal course of movement and digestion of food in the gastrointestinal tract disturbed by gastric resection can be restored by the method of electrostimulation of the zone of gastroenteroanastomosis, which should eliminate one of the leading causes of the dumping syndrome.
