Description / Table of Contents:
Notes:
Abstract A description of a wide-band flashphotometer is given, which applies high frequency modulated monitoring light instead of steady monitoring light. Using this photometer disturbing signals which are fixed in phase to the measuring-signal can be suppressed up to a factor of 105. An investigation of the kinetics of some reactions within the primary process of photosynthesis shows, that by this flash-photometer with high frequency modulated monitoring light absorption changes of 5×10−5 with reaction timesτ 10/90=30 μs and absorption changes of 2×10−4 with reaction timesτ 10/90=350 ns can be measured without any interference.
