Résumé Les résultats de photocoagulations de l'iris pratiquées chez le lapin et sur. 29 yeux de 25 patients atteints de subluxations du cristallin ou d'aphakie chirurgicale sont rapportés. Cette expérience permet de préciser les indications et les contreindications, les avantages et les limites de la photocoagulation de l'iris et d'en indiquer la technique.
Abstract:
Zusammenfassung Die Photokoagulation der Iris wurde experimentell beim Kaninchen und auf 29 Augen von 25 Patienten mit Linsenluxation oder chirurgischer Aphakie ausgeführt. Die Resultate werden mitgeteilt. Es ist nunmehr möglich die Indikationen und Kontraindikationen, die Vorzüge und die Grenzen der Irisphotokoagulationen anzugeben und eine erprobte Technik zu empfehlen.

Summary Results of experimental studies of iris photocoagulation in rabbits and clinical observations of iris photocoagulation on 29 eyes of 25 patients with lens subluxation or surgical aphakia have been incorporated into this report. On the basis of this experience, consideration is given to the indications and contraindications for photocoagulation of the iris, the relative advantages and limitations of the procedure and the technique of iris photocoagulation.
