Abstract In this paper geodesically corresponding metricsg and $$\bar g$$ on a manifoldM, dim ≥5, under the assumption that the tensorsR andS of the metricg satisfyR.R=Q(S, R), are considered. It is stated that the corresponding tensors $$\bar R$$ and $$\bar S$$ of $$\bar g$$ not necessarily must satisfy $$\bar R.\bar R = Q(\bar S,\bar R)$$ . Certain relations between the curvatures ofg and $$\bar g$$ are obtained.
