    Description / Table of Contents: Structural Investigations on K4Ni(N3)6 · 2 H2O and Rb4Ni(N3)6 · 2 H2OK4Ni(N3)6 · 2 H2O and Rb4Ki(N3)6 · 2 H2O have been crystallized from aqueous solutions containing an excess of HN3. The lattice parameters are for K4Ni(N3)6 · 2 H2O: a = 6.54 Å, b = 10.84 Å, c = 22.86 Å, α = 99.90°, β = 90.05°, γ = 96.27°, N = 4; for Rb4Ni(N3)6 · 2 H2O: a = 6.80 Å, b = 11.05 Å, c = 11.84 Å, α = 99.93°, β = 90.02°, γ = 97.20°, N = 2. The optical spectra point to an octahedral coordination of the azide ions around the Ni atoms.
    Notes: K4Ni(N3)6 · 2 H2O und Rb4Ni(N3), · 2 H2O wurden durch Kristallisation aus wäßrigen, HEa-sauren Lösungen erhalten. Die Gitterkonstanten betragen für K4Ni(N3)6 · 2 H2O: a = 6.54 Å, b = 10.84 Å, c = 22.86 Å, α = 99.90°, β = 90.05°, γ = 96.27°, Z = 4; für Rb4Ni(N3)6 · 2 H2O: a = 6.82 Å, b = 11.05 Å, c = 11.84 Å, α = 99.93°, β = 90.02°, γ = 97.20°, Z = 2. Die optischen Spektren weisen auf eine oktaedrische Koordination der Azidionen um die Ni-Atome hin.

The optical spectra of both compounds point to an octahedral microsymmetry around the nickel atoms. The lattice parameters are for Cs4Ni(N3)6 · 2 H2O: a = 6.96 Å, b = 11.12 Å, c = 12.46 Å, α = 100.17°, β = 89.95°, γ = 93.79° for Cs2Ni(N3)4 · H2O: a = 17.34 Å, b = 11.21 Å, c = 11.27 Å, SG:Pbca.
    Notes: Cs4Ni(N3)6 · 2 H2O und Cs2Ni(N3)4 · H2O wurden durch Kristallisation aus wäßrigen, HN3-sauren Lösungen bei Zimmertemperatur erhalten. Die optischen Spektren beider Verbindungen weisen auf eine oktaedrische Mikrosymmetrie um die Nickelatome hin. Die Gitterkonstanten betragen für Cs4Ni(N3)6 · 2 H2O: a = 6,96 Å, b = 11,12 Å, c = 12,46 Å, α = 100,17°, β = 89,95°, γ = 93,79° für Cs2Ni(N3)4 · H2O: a = 17,34 Å, b = 11,21 Å, c = 11,27 Å, RG: Pbca.

    Description / Table of Contents: Preparation, X-Ray Powder Data and Lattice Parameters of Rb2(N3)4 and Tl2Zn(N3)4Two complex zinc azides have been prepared from aqueous solutions containing HN3: Dirubidium-zinc-tetraazide, Rb2Zn(N3)4: a = 2091.0, b = 660.3, c = 723.6 pm and dithallium-zinc- tetraazide, Tl2Zn(N3)4: a = 2056.4, b = 665.9, c = 696.6 pm.Both compounds crystallize orthorhombic in space group Pca21 and are isostructural with Cs2Zn(N3)4.
    Notes: Zwei komplexe Zinkazide konnten aus HN3-sauren wäßrigen Lösungen kristallisiert werden: Dirubidium-Zink-Tetraazid, Rb2Zn(N3)4; a = 2091,0, b = 660,3, c = 723,6 pm und Dithallium-Zink-Tetraazid, Tl2Zn(N3)4: a = 2056,4, b = 665,9, c = 696,6 pm.Beide Verbindungen kristallisieren rhombisch in der Raumgruppe Pca21 und sind isotyp mit Cs2Zn(N3)4.
