Blossom wilt, an important phase of the brown rot disease, resulting in crop losses in apricot and almond, is reported for the first time from North India. Based on general morphology, cultural and sporulation characteristics, and isoelectric focusing profiles, the causal fungus was identified as Monilinia laxa.
