On the Oxidation of Aniline and Substituted Anilines with HydroperoxidesIn the presence of soluble compounds of titanium aniline, o- and p-toluidine, and m-nitroaniline are oxidized by tert.-butyl hydroperoxide or cumyl hydroperoxide to the corresponding azoxy compounds in high yields.
Notes:
Anilin, o- und p-Toluidin sowie m-Nitranilin werden durch Alkylhydroperoxide, z. B. tert.-Butyl- oder Cumyl-hydroperoxid in Gegenwart löslicher Titanverbindungen mit hoher Selektivität zu den entsprechenden Azoxyverbindungen oxydiert.
