Notes:
Conditions for silver recovery from waste photoemulsions by means of the enzymes trypsin and alkaline protease hydrolysis of the gelatine and the mechanism of process were investigated. The degree of silver regeneration is depending on time during the first minutes. Temperature has a decisive significance only during the initial minutes of the process. The sedimentation of silver chloride from the enzyme-degraded photoemulsions depends strongly on the valency of the anions present in the solution.
