Description / Table of Contents:
Notes:
In addition to the superconducting phase with Tc=1.3 K (β-L phase) exists in di-bis(ethylenedithiolo) tetrathiafulvalene triiodide, β-(ET)2I3, another superconducting phase with Tc=7 to 8 K (β-H phase). This new phase occurs when hydrostatic pressure is applied. It is a metastable phase. The T-p phase diagram of β-(ET)2I3 is given. The dependence of Hc2(T) on temperature for the β-H phase has a positive curvature. This fact gives the possibility to assume that the β-H phase is a strong coupling superconductor.
