    Description / Table of Contents: Synthesis and Properties of 1,1-Diiodo- and 1-Iodo-1-x-cyclopropanesThe iodocyclopropanes 1-6 are easily obtained by the readily 1 Makosza method. The 1,1-diiodocyclopropane 1 reacts with organometallics preferably without ring cleavage. Thus, with lithium diorganylcuprate the mono-substituted derivatives 16a, b, 19, 21, and 23 are obtained. Reactions of the monoiodocyclopropanes 11a or b with lithium dimethylcuprate yield exclusively 26a and b, resp., with retention. With metal salts such as silver tosylate or mercury acetate 1 is cleaved and products arising via allyl cation A or via transition state B are isolated.
    Notes: Die Iodcyclopropane 1-6 sind nach dem Makosza-Verfahren leicht erhältlich. Das 1,1-Diiod-cyclopropan 1 reagiert mit Metallorganylen weitgehend unter Ringerhalt. So werden mit Lithium-diorganylcuprat die monosubstituierten Derivate 16a, b, 19, 21 und 23 erhalten. Die Monoiod-cyclopropane 11a bzw. b ergeben mit Lithium-dimethylcuprat unter Retention ausschließlich 26 a bzw. b Mit Metallsalzen wie Silbertosylat und Quecksilberacetat wird 1 geöffnet, und Folgeprodukte des Allyl-Kations A oder des Übergangszustands B werden isoliert.
