Summary 1. 1-Isocyanatoalkkylphosphonic esters were synthesized, and their reactions were studied. 2. It was shown that 1-aminoalkylphosphonic esters (1-amino-1-methylethylphosphonic, 1-amino-l-methylethylphosphonathionic, and α-aminobenzylphosphonic-esters) react with. phosgene and, depending on the conditions, the corresponding isocyanates or symmetrical substituted ureas are formed. 3. 1-Isocyanatoalkylphosphonic esters react with ammonia to give the corresponding unsymmetrical areas, with alcohols to give urethans, with amines to give substituted ureas, and with thiols to give thiourethans. 4. Treatment of a 1-amino-1-methylethylphosphonic ester with carbon disulfide gives a disubstituted thiourea.
