Notes: Abstract Hepatosplenic involvement in cat-scratch disease, probably underdiagnosed, is characterized by multinodular lesions throughout the liver and spleen. Radiologic features of ultrasound, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging are not specific. The key of the diagnosis relies on a history of cat or kitten contact. A specific serological test can confirm the diagnosis without invasive procedures such as biopsy.

Notes: Corrosion protection is one of the important performance properties of organic coatings. In this study, an attempt has been made to develop a high temperature coating. Differentcompositions of silicone and polyester resins are taken and mixed well with the addition of ahardener. The binder system is applied on the pre-treated cold rolled steel panels. Physical andmechanical properties are evaluated. Thermal resistance of the coating system is done according tospecification of ASTM D2485 standards. DSC and TGA analyses are carried out to study the glasstransition temperature and temperature dependence of the sample prepared respectively. Corrosionprotection ability of the system is evaluated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) andimmersion studies. From the thermal studies, the coating containing 40% silicone and 60%polyester has withstood up to 498 K

Notes: Abstract Inoculation of the Japonica rice, Giza 171, with blue-green algae along with 36 kg N/ha or complete N fertilization by 108 kg N/ha were tested along with blast-controlling fungicides: Kitazin-17, Fuji-one and Beam. The algal inoculum, which containedAnabaena cylindrica, Anabaena oryzae, Nostoc muscorum and Tolypothrix tenuis, was applled as 100 kg soil-based inoculum (90% moisture)/ha 5 days after transplanting. Plant growth, yield, N content and fertilizer-N-use efficiency were increased and the incidence and severity of leaf and neck intection withPyricularia oryzae were decreased by treatment with the fungicides applied with the algae along with 36 kg N/ha inslead of 108 kg N/ha without algae.
