Zusammenfassung 15 cerebrale arterio-venöse Angiome wurden mit der Szintillationskamera zum Teil mehrfach kombiniert früh- und spätszintigraphisch untersucht. Drei Fünftel der Fälle zeigten Befunde, die als weitgehend charakteristisch für diese Gefäßmißbildungen gelten können. Einige Male ließen die Untersuchungsergebnisse keine artdiagnostischen Rückschlüsse zu. Zwei Angiome entzogen sich völlig dem hirnszintigraphischen Nachweis. Die für die unterschiedlichen Untersuchungsergebnisse in Frage kommenden Mechanismen werden besprochen, und die Bedeutung des Verfahrens für die klinische Diagnostik cerebraler Gefäßmißbildungen wird diskutiert.

Summary 15 cases of cerebral arteriovenous angioma were examined by combined rapid sequential and late brain scintigraphy. In some cases the studies were repeated several times. 60% of the cases yielded results which could be considered largely typical of this vascular malformation. In a few cases the results allowed no diagnostic conclusions. Brain scintiscan completely failed to detect the angioma in 2 cases. The discussion deals with the possible reasons for the variable results and the importance of the procedure in the clinical diagnosis of cerebral vascular malformations.
