Description / Table of Contents:
Notes:
Radiation and “usual” emulsion polymerization are compared. By radiation polymerization various supplementary possibilities affecting the kinetics of the process and improving the quality of the polymer arise (post-polymerization giving super high molecular polymers; polymerization with small amount of emulsifier; low temperature polymerization; graft polymerization). The cost of initiation in comparable processes is practically equal.
