Summary The role of the testicle in the trophic of antlers of the cervids is discussed using selecting literature and on the basis of a roe buck with abnormal antlers and cryptorchism. Particular consideration is given to previous histological studies of testicles from cryptorchic bucks. Histological studies of the author are not shown.
Abstract:
Résumé Le rôle des testicules dans le développement des bois des Cervidés fait l'objet d'une discussion sur base d'un choix bibliographique et d'une description d'un cas de bois en perruque chez le Chevreuil. Dans la littérature, une attention particulière a été réservée jusqu'à présent aux examens histologiques de testicules de chevreuils atteints de Kryptorchisme.

Zusammenfassung Die Rolle der Hoden in der Geweihtrophik der Cerviden wird an Hand einer Literaturauswahl und auf Grund eines Rehbocks mit Perückengeweih und Kryptorchismus besprochen. Besondere Berücksichtigung finden bisherige histologische Untersuchungen an Hoden von kryptorchen Böcken (Capreolus capreolus L.) aus der Literatur. Eigene histologische Untersuchungen fehlen.
