    Description / Table of Contents: Das Grundkonzept des parakristallinen Fehlordnungsmodells wird überprüft und seine Anwendbarkeit auf fehlgeordnete Strukturen, insbesondere Flüssigkeiten und amorphe Stoffe, untersucht.Das Konzept des idealen Parakristalls kann als brauchbar angesehen werden, wenn seine Anwendung auf eine semiquantitative Interpretation anisotroper Fehlordnungsstrukturen beschränkt bleibt; seine Anwendbarkeit für Flüssigkeitsstrukturen und amorphe Strukturen mit homogener Dichtefluktuation ist sehr begrenzt.Das Konzept des realen Parakristalls stellt offenbar keine Verbesserung gegenüber dem des idealen Parakristalls dar.
    Notes: The basic concept of the paracrystalline disorder model is revised and its applicability to disordered structures, notably liquids and amorphous materials, is examined.The concept of the ideal paracrystal can be considered useful provided its application is restricted to a semi-quantitative interpretation of anisotropic disorder structures; its applicability to liquid structures and amorphous structures with homogenous density fluctuations is very limited.The concept of the real paracrystal does not appear to be an improvement over that of the ideal paracrystal.

    Description / Table of Contents: Durch radikalische Polymerisation werden Multiblockcopolymere hergestellt, bei denen die Blöcke aus statistischen Copolymeren aufgebaut sind. Ein azogruppenhaltiges Poly(styrol-co-butadien) wird durch Substanzpolymerisation der Monomeren mit einem radikalischen Polyinitiator gewonnen. Die Blocklänge wird nach reduktiver Spaltung bestimmt. Die Zersetzung der restlichen Azogruppen in Gegenwart von Styrol/Acrylnitril führt zu Poly(styrol-co-butadien)-block-(styrol-co-acrylnitril). Durch dynamisch-mechanische Analyse und Elektronenmikroskopie wird die vorhandene Zweiphasenmorphologie gesichert. In Abhängigkeit von dem Verhältnis Styrol/Butadien zu Styrol/Acrylnitril werden entweder thermoplastisch-elastomeres Poly(styrol-co-butadien) oder schlagzähes Poly(styrol-co-acrylnitril) erhalten. Das Kriechverhalten der thermoplastischen Elastomeren läßUt sich durch zwei Relaxations-zeiten beschreiben. Das durch Mooney-Rivlin-Auftragung erhaltene Segmentmoleku-largewicht zwischen den physikalischen Vernetzungen steht in Übereinstimmung mit der chemischen Analyse.
    Notes: Multiblock copolymers with both blocks consisting of statistical copolymers are prepared by radical copolymerization. Starting from a radical polyinitiator a poly(styrene-co-butadiene) containing azogroups is obtained by bulk polymerization. The block length is determined after reductive cleavage. Decomposition of the residual azogroups in presence of styrene/acrylonitrile results in poly((styrene-co-butadiene)-block(styrene-co-acrylonitrile)). A two phase morphology is revealed by dynamic mechanical analysis and electron microscopy. Depending on the ratio styrene/butadiene to styrene/acrylonitrile thermoplastic elastomeric poly(styrene-co-butadiene) or high impact poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile) are obtained. The creep behaviour of the thermoplastic elastomer can be described by discrete relaxation times. The molecular weight of the segments between the physical crosslinks (Mc) obtained from Mooney-Rivlin plots are in agreement with the chemical analysis.
