Investigations on the Coordination Chemistry of Zinc Dialkyls. XVIII. Synthesis, Properties, and Complex Formation of Bis(1-camphenyl)zincBis(1-camphenyl)zinc was synthesized from zinc chloride and 1-camphenyl lithium. The compound forms complexes with 2,2′-bipyridyl and 1,10-phenanthroline of the types (1-Camphe)2Zn · L and [(1-Camphe)2Zn]2 · L (L = bipy, phen). All compounds were characterized by elementary analysis, i.r., electron, 1H-nmr, and mass spectra and by polarographic measurements.

Bis(1-camphenyl) zink wurde aus Zinkchlorid und 1-Camphenyllithium synthetisiert. Die Verbindung bildet mit 2,2′-Dipyridyl und 1,10-Phenanthrolin Komplexe der Typen (1-Camphe)2Zn2 · L und [(1-Camphe)2Zn]2 · L (L = dipy, phen). Die erhaltenen Verbindungen wurden durch Elementaranalysen, ihre IR-, UV-VIS-, 1H-NMR- und Massenspektren sowie durch polarographische Untersuchungen näher charakterisiert.
