Summary The normally used combination of conflict oriented inpatient treatment with so-called non verbal therapies (e.g. relaxation therapy, role playing and exercises to increase body awareness among others) for patients with psychogenetically formed symptoms or psychosomatic diseases is frequently not sufficient. Not only in behavioral therapy but also in psychoanalytically oriented treatment an explicit formulation of therapy goals is demanded. Therefore the conflict and problem solving oriented approach integrates additionally a behavioral oriented component of problem solving on the way to reach the formulated treatment goal. This makes it possible to intervene at the psychodynamic or more concretely at the problem solving level, both in the psychoanalytic frame of reference and possible problematic processes during inpatient therapy can be immediately recognized and addressed to. Common features and differences between this approach and other treatment settings are discussed.

Zusammenfassung Die Kombination der stationären konfliktorientierten Psychotherapie mit nonverbalen Therapien (z.B. Gestaltung, Tanz und Bewegung, Entspannungstraining, Körperwahrnehmung) ist bei vielen Patienten mit psychogenen und psychosomatischen Krankheiten nicht ausreichend. Nicht nur für die Verhaltenstherapie, sondern auch für die psychoanalytisch orientierte Behandlung wird inzwischen die explizite Erstellung und Überprüfung von Therapiezielen gefordert (Broda u. Senf 1996). Deshalb wurde bei der konflikt- und lösungsorientierten stationären psychoanalytischen Therapie zusätzlich zu der einsichtsorientierten eine lösungsorientierte (behavioral-kognitive) Komponente zentral in das Konzept der stationären Behandlung integriert. Dafür werden gemeinsam mit den Patienten Therapieziele erarbeitet sowie konkrete Schritte zur Umsetzung formuliert, deren Erreichung wöchentlich überprüft wird. Dies ermöglicht, sowohl auf der lösungsorientierten als auch auf der konfliktorientierten Ebene, allerdings auf der Basis der psychoanalytischen Theorie, zu intervenieren. Außerdem können problematische Therapieverläufe kurzfristig erfaßt werden. Gemeinsamkeiten bzw. Unterschiede dieses Ansatzes in Bezug auf andere Modifikationen der psychoanalytischen Therapie bzw. Kombinationen mehrerer Therapieverfahren werden diskutiert.
