    Description / Table of Contents: Résumé L'étude des poudres de Nickel et de Fer ex-carbonyle, par différentes techniques d'analyse thermique, a permis d'établir les mécanismes initiaux du frittage. Les réactions solide-gaz précédant la formation des ponts entre les grains ont été déterminées: désorbtion de l'eau, réduction de l'oxygène et des groupements CO de surface, décomposition des carbures. Le début de frittage (pontage) a trouvé une explication dans le rôle particulièrement important des impuretés et notamment du carbone.
    Abstract: Zusammenfassung Das Studium von Nickel- und Ex-carbonyl-Eisenpulvern mittels verschiedener Techniken der Thermoanalyse gestattete den Anfangsmechanismus des Sinterns zu klären. Die der Bildung von “Brücken” zwischen den Körnern vorausgehenden Fest-Gas-Reaktionen wurden bestimmt: Wasser-Desorption, Reduktion von Sauerstoff- und Kohlenmonoxyd-Oberflächengruppen, Zersetzung von Carbiden. Der Anfang des Sinterns (der Brückenbildung) kann durch die wichtige Rolle von Verunreinigungen, besonders von Kohle, erklärt werden.
    Notes: Abstract The study of nickel and iron ex-carbonyl powders, using various thermal analysis techniques permitted clarification of the initial mechanism of sintering. Solid-gas reactions prior to “bridging” of grains were determined: water desorption, reduction of oxygen and carbon-monoxide surface groups, decomposition of carbides. Initiation of sintering (bridging) can be explained by the prominent part played by impurities and particularly carbon.
