Conclusions 1. The authors have studied the yields and compositions of the catalytic reforming products of the fraction with bp 62–85°C (before and after dewaxing on molecular sieves) obtained from petroleum of the Lelyakov deposit. 2. It is shown that, with a fairly high degree of conversion of methylcyclopentane and n-hexane, the yield of benzene is less than 50% and 14%, respectively in terms of converted hydrocarbon. 3. It is noted that the degree of aromatization obtained in catalytic reforming of the dewaxed fraction is greater than for the initial feedstock.
