Notes: The formation of intermetallic compounds in brazed joints between SUS304 andnickel-based filler metal is a major concern, since they considerably degrade the mechanicalproperties of joints. In this study, the SUS304, which is used widespread, as a general material wasvacuum brazed with BNi-2 filler metal, and discussed to determine the influence of different brazingtemperature and time on the strength of brazed joints. The results showed that, the mechanicalproperties of brazing layer could be stabilized through increasing the brazing temperature over 100°C more than melting temperature of filler metal, and increasing the brazing time over 120min. long, and diffusing enough the intermetallic compounds formed in the brazing layer to the base metal

Notes: Reliability of automotive parts has been one of the most interesting fields in the automotiveindustry. Especially small DC motor was issued because of the increasing adoption for passengers’safety and convenience. For several years, small DC motors have been studied and some problems ofa life test method were found out. The field condition was not considered enough in the old life testmethod. It also needed a lot of test time. For precise life estimation and accelerated life test, new lifetest procedure was developed based on measured field condition. First, vibration condition on vehicleand latent force on fan motor shaft were measured and correlated with each other. Second, testcondition was decided by obtained data. Finally, life of fan motors was estimated by new life testmethod in shorter test time

Notes: Reliability of automotive parts has been one of the most interesting fields in the automotiveindustry. Especially wiper motor for automobiles is important part because of improving visual comfort forthe driver and the passengers. Therefore, we have dealt with the reliability test procedure of wiper motor. The failures such as wear-out of brush, bearing damage, motor coil burnout are caused by the electrical andmechanical operating for low and high actions of wiper motor. In this research, we have qualitativelyselected the efficient test items through the analysis of the life and potential failures of wiper motor. So,wiper motor itself requires an estimation of life causing failure of brush wear out in order to operate thesystem safely. We have tested six wiper motors. The result is established by employing the weibull plot. Wevalidated the life of wiper motor to the experimental result
