Description / Table of Contents: On the Formation of Isomeric Tris(trimethylsilyl)thiophosphoryltrihydrazides by Migration of Silyl GroupsIn the reaction of thiophosphoryltrichloride with 1,2-bis(trimethylsilyl)hydrazine isomers of tris(trimethylsilyl)thiophosphoryltrihydrazide are formed, which differ in the position of the trimethylsilyl groups, either the α-nitrogen atom or the β-nitrogen atom of the hydrazido groups are silyl-substituted. Proton-n.m.r. investigations show, that an equilibrium between different isomers exists in solution at room temperature. By cristallization at -20°C the compound with three trimethylsilyl groups in α-position can be isolated in an almost pure state.
