    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract Разложение метана на вольфрамовой проволоке было изучено при атмосферном давлении и в интервале температур 1700–2000 К. Измеряли вероятности реакции и скорости диффузии углерода в массу вольфрама. Согласие с данными других авторов указывает, что вероятность реакции остается постоянной при ири изменениях давлений метана, превышающих величину 106.
    Notes: Abstract Methane decomposition on tungsten wires is studied at atmospheric pressure and temperatures between 1700 and 2000 K. Reaction probabilities on the carbonized surface are measured along with diffusion coefficients of carbon into bulk tungsten. Agreement with other authors' data indicate that the reaction probability remains constant for changes over 6 orders of magnitude in the methane pressure.

    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract Скорость распада HCOOH на поликристаллическом вольфраме проверялась в широком интервале температур катализатора (600〈T〈1800 К) для давлений между 0,1 и 100 торр. Данные для низкого давления (p≤3 торр) могут быть описаны уравнением Лангмюра-Хиншельвуда для скорости мономолекулярной реакции; при более высоких давлениях реакция становится контролируемой передачей массы.
    Notes: Abstract The rates of HCOOH decomposition on polycrystalline tungsten are examined over a wide range of catalyst temperatures (600〈T〈1800 K) at pressures between 0.1 and 100 Torr. Low pressure (p≤3 Torr) data can be fitted by a Langmuir-Hinshelwood unimolecular rate expression; at higher pressures the reaction becomes mass transfer controlled.
