Notes: [Auszug] We wish to report further observations of Cyg X-l at 2,695 and 8,085 MHz with the NRAO interferometer and observations at 10,630 MHz with the 150 foot antenna at Algonquin Park, using a beam-switching technique. The results of these observations, together with the results of Braes and Miley, are ...

Notes: [Auszug] The measurements at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory were made with the three-element interferometer2. The position of each source was measured independently on at least two of the element spacings I6,200X, 18,900X, 21,600X or 24,300X. The technique was novel in that it yielded an absolute ...

Notes: [Auszug] Radiation from the direction of b Persei was seen during about 5 h. The position of the intermittent radio source coincides closely with the position given in the SAO catalogue for b Persei: a1950 = 04 h 14 min 28.5 s±0.13 s, 5195o= +50° 10' 28//±2// (Radio) ai95o = 04 h 14 min ...

Notes: [Auszug] BRIANT ET AL. REPLY - We fully agree with Korber et al concerning the importance of the issue of sample contamination. We had, in fact, carried out a more detailed analysis than theirs which was indeed considered as part of the review process of our paper5. Sample timing and order of processing ...

Notes: [Auszug] The observations were made at frequencies of 2,695 and 8,085 MHz with the NRAO three-element interferometer at Green Bank from October 28 to October 31, 1971. The baseline lengths were 900, 1,800 and 2,700 m. Cygnus X-l was observed concurrently with sixty other radio sources in a programme of ...

Notes: [Auszug] The observations of GX9+1 were made with the NRAO three-element interferometer at frequencies of 2,695 and 8,085 MHz. Previous negative results for radio emission from this X-ray source, together with a description of the interferometer and data analysis methods, are given elsewhere3. Observations ...

Notes: Abstract The weak thermal emission from the largest minor planets can be detected and measured at all points around their orbits at microwave frequencies using the Very Large Array (VLA). Position determinations of astrometric quality have been obtained, and flux measurements have provided size estimates. When enough precise positional observations have been accumulated, the orbits of the minor planets and the Earth can be determined. This will allow the equinox to be located within the radio reference frame, providing a truly fundamental coordinate system for radio source positions. It will also provide a means of relating the optical and radio (quasar) coordinate systems.
