    Description / Table of Contents: New Monomeric Boron Imides and Their ReactionsBoron imides RB=N(tBu) (2a-c), storable at -80°C, are formed at 530°C by elimination of ClSiMe3 from aminoboranes Cl-(R)B-[N(tBu)SiMe3] (1a-c). The boron imides can be completely trimerized to the borazines (RBN(tBu)3 (3a-c). A considerable BN triple bond character in 2 follows from the 11BN vibration at 2010-2020 cm-1. Boron imides are alkyloborated to the diborylamines 4a-d by BR3′. They undergo a cyclisation to the tetrazaborolines 5a-c with PhN3. With Me3SiN3, the cyclisation to the tetrazaborolines 6a-c concurs with the azidosilation giving the azidoaminoboranes 7a-c.
    Notes: Aus den Aminoboranen Cl-(R)B-[N(tBu)SiMe3] (1a-c) erhält man bei 530°C im heißen Rohr unter Abspaltung von ClSiMe3 die bei -80°C lagerfähigen Borimide RB=N(tBu) (2a-c), die man durch Erhitzen vollständig in die Borazine [RBN(tBu)]3 (3a-c) überführen kann. Die 11BN-Valenzschwingung bei 2010-2020 cm-1 spricht für einen beträchtlichen BN-Dreifachbindungsanteil in 2. Die Borimide lassen sich mit BR3′ zu den Diborylaminen 4a-d alkyloborieren, mit PhN3 geben sie eine Cyclisierung zu den Tetrazaborolinen 5a-c, und mit Me3SiN3 werden sie nebeneinander zu den Tetrazaborolinen 6a-c cyclisiert und zu den Azidoaminoboranen 7a-c azidosiliert.
