Summary After the administration of repeated high doses of chicken protein, rabbits developed extensive fibroses of the bone marrow after 4–6 weeks (in appr. 75%). In addition to this, they also show neogenesis of bone, partly as deposits on the trabeculae of the spongiosa and partly in the bone marrow (appr. 50%). With simultaneous administration of prednisolone acetate small, spotty fibroses in the hypoplastic marrow can only be recognized in approximately 40% of the cases. The course of the experiment could not be affected by antiphlogistic agents (phenylbutazone, oxyphenbutazone and benzydamine).

Zusammenfassung Nach wiederholter hochdosierter Applikation von Hühnereiweiß entwickeln sich bei Kaninchen nach 4–6 Wochen ausgedehnte Fibrosen im Knochenmark (etwa in 75%), daneben auch Knochenneubildungen teils in Anlagerung an Spongiosabälkchen, teils in der Markhöhle (etwa 50%). Bei gleichzeitiger Gabe von Prednisolon-Acetat sind nur in etwa 40% der Fälle kleine, fleckförmige Fibrosen im hypoplastischen Mark zu erkennen. Durch Antiphlogistica (Phenylbutazon, Oxyphenbutazon und Benzydamin) läßt sich der Versuchsablauf nicht beeinflussen.
