Notes:
Differences in the photodissociation spectrum obtained from pure SO+2 formed by electron impact, and that obtained from SO+2 formed in a mixture with a 20-fold excess of xenon, indicates that the populations of the excited states of SO+2 are modified. By spectrum stripping, the contribution due to resonant charge exchange ionization is isolated and spectral complexity significantly reduced.
