    Description / Table of Contents: The RAMAN and IR-spectra of (CH3)SnH, (CH3),SnF, (CH3)3SnCl and (CH3)3SnBr are measured in various states of aggregation. The frequencies are assigned (symmetry C3v). Contrary to the other compounds, (CH3)3SnF forms an ion lattice. The other halides associate building (Sn-hal-Sn)-bridges. AU halides dissociate in water forming [(CH3)3Sn]+ and halide ions. Force constants are calculated for (CH3)3 SnH and (CH3)3SnCl.
    Notes: Die RAMAN- und IR-Spektren von (CH3)3SnH, (CH3)3 SnF, (CH3)3 SnCl und (CH3)3SnBr in verschiedenen Aggregatzuständen werden mitgeteilt und die Frequenzen den einzelnen Normalschwingungen zugeordnet (Symmetrie C3v). (CH3)3SnF bildet im Gegensatz zu den anderen Verbindungen ein Ionengitter. Die übrigen Halogenide assoziieren über (Sn—Hal—Sn)-Brücken. In wäßrigen Lösungen dissoziieren alle Halogenide in [(CH3)3Sn]+ und Hal′-Ionen. Fur (CH3),SnH und (CH3)3 SnCl wurden Kraftkonstanten berechnet.
