Notes:
Summary According to our paper chromatographic tests, human, cow's, and rat's milk all contain small quantities of glucose, galactose and glutamic acid, as well as a sugar-like, nitrogen-containing substance of which the hydrolysis products were studied. In human milk only, we found a non-identified aldohexose.
