Summary The determination of arsenate using lead(II)-nitrate may be applied to the determination of arsenic in non-volatile organic substances. The titration involves following the pH-value during titration-procedure. A simple and rapid way to burn the substance is proposed. The method is not impaired by sulfate or halogenide. The standard deviation is about 0.3% As abs.

Zusammenfassung Die Titration von Arsenat mit Blei(II)-nitratlösung durch Verfolgung des pH-Wertes der Titrationslösung läßt sich zur Arsenbestimmung schwerflüchtiger organischer Substanzen anwenden. Eine einfache und schnelle Verbrennungsmethode wird vorgeschlagen. Sulfat- und Halogenidionen stören nicht. Die Standardabweichung beträgt etwa 0,3% As abs.
