Notes: Abstract.  Polarization phenomena for vector meson production in neutron-proton collisions, , with , are studied for collinear kinematics when the vector mesons are produced at angles or 180° with respect to the momentum of the incoming beam. It is shown that the spin structure of the matrix elements can be parametrized in terms of five independent complex scalar amplitudes whose symmetry properties follow from the isotopic invariance of the strong interaction and from which specific polarization properties can be deduced. The polarization structure functions, calculated in terms of these five independent scalar amplitudes, allow to analyze one and two spin polarization observables in a model independent way.

Notes: Abstract. The Dalitz distribution and the effective mass spectrum of the lepton pair produced in the decay $\eta_c\to \gamma \ell^+ \ell^-$ , as well as the differential cross sections for the crossed channels $\gamma e^-\to \eta_c e^- $ and $e^+ e^-\to \eta_c \gamma$ , are calculated in terms of the sole electromagnetic transition form factor for the vertex $\eta_c\to\gamma \gamma^*$ , where $\gamma^*$ is a virtual photon with a space-like (for $\gamma e^- \to \eta_c e^- $ ) or a time-like (for $e^+ e^-\to \eta_c \gamma$ and $\eta_c\to\gamma \ell^+\ell^-$ ) four-momentum. Explicit parameterizations of the transition form factor are found in two different approaches, namely in the vector dominance model and in a QCD-inspired consideration on the basis of the process $c \overline c\to \gamma \ell^+ \ell^-$ , with zero relative three-momentum of the annihilating quarks.

Notes: Abstract. Using the symmetry properties of the strong interaction, such as the Pauli principle, the P-invariance, the conservation of the total angular momentum and isotopic invariance, we establish the spin structure of the threshold matrix elements for the processes $p + p\to \Theta^ + + \Sigma^ + $ and $n + p\to \Theta^ + + \Lambda^0$ , in the near-threshold region, in a model-independent way, which applies to any spin and parity of the $\Theta^ + $ -hyperon. We predict the double-spin observables for these processes, such as the dependence of the differential cross-section on the polarizations of the colliding nucleons, and the coefficients of polarization transfer from a nucleon beam or target to the produced $\Sigma^ + $ - or $\Lambda^0$ -hyperon. We prove that these observables are sensitive to the P-parity of the $\Theta^ + $ -baryon, for any value of its spin. As an example of dynamical considerations, we analyzed these reactions in the framework of K-meson exchange.
