    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung  Die durch Konvektionstrocknung bewirkte Temperatur- und Feuchteänderung in porösen Materialien wurde in einer eindimensionalen Analyse mittels der Methode der finiten Elemente untersucht. Unter Zugrundelegung konstanter Stoffwerte ermittelte Berechnungsergebnisse für Ziegel und Mörtel stimmen mit experimentellen Befund überein. Die Desorptionsdaten für beide Materialien wurden über die modifizierte Henderson-Gleichung ermittelt.
    Notes: Abstract  A one-dimensional finite element analysis has been carried out to study temperature and moisture variation of porous materials during convective drying. The predicted results for brick and mortar with constant transport properties agree with available experimental data. Henderson’s modified equation has been used to obtain the desorption data for the materials.
