Electrical relaxation processes and their effect on the measurement of current-voltage characteristics of high-impedance polymers are described. The possibility to get informations on polarization and space charge phenomena by investigation of relaxation processes are discussed and illustrated with some examples

Elektrische Relaxationsprozesse und ihr Einfluß auf die Messung von Strom-Spannungs-Charakteristiken von hochohmigen Polymeren werden beschrieben. Die Möglichkeiten, durch Untersuchung der Relaxationsprozesse Informationen über Polarisations- und Raumladungserscheinungen zu erhalten, werden diskutiert und an Hand einiger Beispiele demonstriert.
