Notes:
Electron spin resonance measurements have been performed as a function of temperature, cooling field, and sample orientation on the amorphous spin-glass system Cu2MnAl (Tg=65 K). The peak in the linewidth (Γ) does not occur until T≈25 K which is shown to result from the reduction of the transition temperature in an applied field. The linewidth for the applied field parallel to the film surface is much greater than if the applied field is perpendicular to the film surface. This anomalous orientation dependence of Γ is not well understood.
