Notes: Summary The setting up of the European Aeroallergen Network Server marks the creation of a central and redily accessible Data Bank aimed to collected the most significant data on allergenic pollen concentration in the air. It is designed to stimulate research as well as to simplify routine work and, in particular, enables all participating countries to get actual or statistical information. It is therefore to be considered as a valid contribution with respect to the working out of forecasting models. The access to the Data Bank is at the same time extremely simple and highly reliable as far as the safeguard of the Author's copyright is concerned.

Notes: Summary For allergological purposes it is of interest whether the number of allergenic pollen will change in a significant order. Linear regression and correlation of different pollen types show that the annual totals of most of the allergenic pollen remain constant. None of the pollen grains show distinct and significant disappearance, but four types show significant increase of annual totals: Varia, Sambucus, Cupressaceae and Rubicaea. Pollen of Cupressaceae and Castanea fairly will become of more allergological interest within the next years, if the upward-trend should prove to be continous. No significant change was found in the number of the investigated spores.
