Riassunto Si discute la tecnica del mode-locking applicata ad una cavità laser di lunghezza inusuale nell'ambito della teoria di Harris-McDuff. Sono presentati i risultati sperimentali ed un confronto con le previsioni teoriche.

Резюме В рамках теории Харриса-Мак Дуфу обсуждается запирание моды в резонаторе длинного лазера. Приводятся экспериментальные результаты и проводится сравнение с теоретическими предсказаниями.

Summary The mode locking of a long laser cavity is discussed in the framework of the Harris-McDuff theory. Experimental results are presented and compared with theoretical predictions.
