Notes:
This paper describes a system which evaluates Josephson junction yields. This computer-aided system has been designed and tested and confirmed to be able to evaluate yields with an error less than 0.003% for series-connected junctions with less than 256 junctions at a time. This system frees a person from the conventional troublesome evaluation method. This system was adapted for the evaluation of initial yields of all-lead-alloy junctions and niobium/lead-alloy junctions. It has been made clear that the all-lead-alloy junctions exhibit a relatively low yield, but that the yield of the niobium/lead-alloy junctions is as high as 99.98%.
