Abstract Two relativistic, independent-particle atomic models are employed to calculate two sets of internal conversion coefficients: the Hartree-Fock model and the Hartree-Fock-Slater model with the weighting factor C=1 in the exchange term, respectively. Eight transitions with energies of 50 to 412 keV, multipolarities, M1, E2, E3, M4, in nuclei with Z=47 to 80 are considered. The former set of the conversion coefficients is found to agree substantially better with 68 experimental data than the latter one.
