Notes: Abstract Postaccelerated58Ni and60Ni beams from the Munich MP tandem have been used to study the compound reactions58Ni→93Nb,92Mo,94Mo and60Ni→92Mo. The final nuclei148Er,150Er and147Ho have been investigated with in-beamγ-spectroscopic methods, such as excitation functions,γγ coincidences, bunched-beam and pulsed-beam techniques. Level schemes of148Er,150Er and147Ho have been established with the following level energies, spins, parities and half-lives:148Er: 646.6 keV 2+; 1,524.0(4+); 2,254.3(5−); 2,526.9(6+); 2,537.3(7−), 2,706.0(7−, 8−); 2,784.4(8+); 2,915.5(10+) 13±3 μs150Er: 1,578.9 keV 2+; 1,786.4 3−; 2,261.2(5−); 2,634.1(7−); 2,734.3(8+); 2,798.3(10+) 2.7±0.2 us; 4,001.9; 4,491.8; 4,886.0; 5,222.7147Ho: 765.4; 1,737.2; 2,355; 2,656.6 The level scheme of150Er has been discussed in the framework of the seniority scheme. Perfect agreement with the experiment has been found for the predictions of this scheme for the half-lives of 10+ states inN=82 isotones. This is the first nuclear region where the predictions of the seniority scheme have been observed without strong perturbation.

    Notes: Abstract 40Ca beams from the Munich tandem and from the Munich heavy ion postaccelerator have been used to produce very neutron deficient Ru and Rh nuclei with58Ni (40Ca,yp+zαγ) reactions. The nuclei92Ru,94Ru and95Rh have been studied with in-beam γ ray spectroscopy consisting of the measurement of excitation functions, γ γ coincidences, γ ray angular distributions and life times with the recoil distance method. The following new level energies, spin parity values and half-lives have been deduced:92Ru: 865.3 keV 2+; 1,855.8 (4+); 2,672.7 (6+); 2,834.6 (8+) 100±14 ns; 3,640.3 (10+), 4,206.1 (12+)94Ru: 2,624.7 (5−) 530 −200 +500 ps; 3,991.7 (10+); 4,197.9 (9−); 4,489.3 (11−) 780±120 ps; 4,717.1 (12+) 35±3ps; 5,568.4 (13−); 5.826.8 (14−); 6,360.3 (14−); 6,614.7 (13+); 7,158.3 (14+); 7,774.1 (15); 8,412.1 (16); 9,042.2 (17)95Rh: 1,350.7 (13/2+); 2,067.2 (17/2+); 2,236.2 (17/2−) 15±5ns; 2,449.0 (21/2+) 2.1±0.3 ns; 3,241.2 (21/2−); 3,724.1 (25/2+); 3.908.9 (25/2−); 4,307.2 (27/2+); 4,457.9; 4,716.9; 5,063.2; 6,797.3; 7,627.4 The residual activities have been studied with multi spectra analysis'. The decay scheme of94Rh(25±2 s) has been established.

Notes: Abstract The reaction58Ni→96Ru has been investigated withγ spectroscopic methods and pulsed-beam techniques. A level scheme of the magic nucleus152Yb has been established. The half-life of the isomeric 10+ state was found to be 39±5 μs. The result is discussed in the frame-work of the seniority scheme. Theory and experiment show excellent agreement for the half-lives of the 10+ states in theN=82 isotones148Dy,150Er and [152Yb. A level scheme of151Tm, consisting of ten excited states, has been established.β-decay schemes of [152Yb (3.2±0.3 s),152Tm(m) (8.0±1.0 s) and151Tm (3.8±0.8 s) have been derived. The logft value of theβ transition152Yb (00)→152Tm (1+) has been determined to be about 3.4. It was found that theft values of the favouredβ transitions 0+→1+ in theβ decays of [148Dy,150Er and152Yb are almost inversely proportional to the numbers of protons out of theh 11/2 subshell.

Notes: Abstract The two-proton pickup (14C,16O) reaction was studied for the N=82 target nuclei 58 140 Ce82, 60 142 Nd82, and 62 144 Sm82. We observe dominating g.s. transitions and selective population of the first excited 2+ and 3− states, in analogy to the two-proton pickup (p, t)-reaction on the proton-magic Sn-isotopes.

Notes: Abstract The neutron-rich nuclei33Si,34Si,35Si,35P,36P,37S and38S were investigated by studying14C and18O — induced transfer reactions on36S using aQ3D magnetic spectrograph and a position sensitive focal plane gas detector. The previously unknown mass of the isotope35Si was determined. The accuracy of the mass excess values of the isotopes33Si,34Si,35P and36P has been improved. Excited states of the isotopes33Si,34Si,35P,36P and38S were identified for the first time. In addition theγ-decay of excited states in37S and38S was studied with a Ge(Li) detector in coincidence with theQ3D focal plane detector. Experimental values for the mass excesses are compared with published mass formulae.
