    Description / Table of Contents: On Metallocen Boranes. Mössbauer Studies on FerrocenylboranesMössbauer studies on ferrocenyl-dihalogen-boranes show a decrease in the quadrupol splitting ΔEQ with increasing Lewis acidity of the dihalogenboryl group, while the isomer shift δIS remains constant.
    Notes: Mössbauer-Untersuchungen an Ferrocenyl-dihalogenboranen (C5H5)-Fe(C5H4BR2) (R = F, Cl, Br, J) zeigen eine Abnahme der Quadrupolaufspaltung ΔEQ mit zunehmender Lewis-Acidität der Dihalogenborangruppe. Dagegen bleibt die Isomerieverschiebung δIS konstant.

    Description / Table of Contents: Preparation, Mössbauer and Vibrational Spectra of the Azido Complexes [SnCl4(N3)2]2- and [SnCl4N3]22-By the reaction of SnCl4 with [N(CH3)4]N3 in liquid SO2 the complexes [N(CH3)4]2.[SnCl4(N3)2] (I) and [N(CH3)4]2[SnCl4N3]2 (II) can be obtained. Mössbauer and vibrational spectra indicate for the complex anion of (I) the cis-configuration of the azide groups. The anion of (II), which is isoelectric with [SbCl4N3]2, exhibits a centrosymmetric ring structure, which is formed by the α-N atoms of the N3 groups as bridging atoms.
    Notes: Die Umsetzung von SnCl4 mit Tetramethylammonium-Azid in flüssigem SO2 führt je nach den angewandten Molverhältnissen zu [N(CH3)4]2[SnCl4(N3)2] (I) bzw. zu [N(CH3)4]2[SnCl4N3]2 (II). Mössbauer- und Schwingungsspektren belegen für (I) cis-Stellung der Azidogruppen, während das mit [SbCl4N3]2 isoelektronische Anion von (II) einen zentrosymmetrischen Sn2N2-Vierring enthält, der mittels der α-N-Atome der Azidogruppen zustande kommt.

    Description / Table of Contents: 121Sb Mössbauer Spectra of Antimony (V) Compounds. IIIThe Mössbauer resonance effect of 121Sb has been studied in the antimony(V) compounds I-VI. Isomer shift and quadrupole splitting variations are considered in the light of results of vibrational spectroscopy and in part of X-ray data. The antimony iodine azides II and IV, respectively, were obtained by reactions of R3Sb (R = CH3, C6H5) with iodine azide.
    Notes: Die bei 4,2 K erhaltene 121Sb-Mößbauer-Spektren von Me3Sb(N3)2 (I), Me3SbIN3 (II), Me3SbI2 (III), (C6H5)3SbIN3 (IV), KSbCl5N3 (V) und [Cl4SbNCO]3 (VI) werden mitgeteilt und die aus der Isomerieverschiebung und der Quadrupolaufspaltung ermittelten Informationen mit schwingungsspektroskopischen und zum Teil mit kristallographischen Daten in Beziehung gebracht. Die Antimoniodidazide II bzw. IV werden aus R3Sb (R = CH3, C6H5) und Iodazid erhalten.
