Notes: Summary The binding of semi-synthetic (16α-gitoxin and its 16-acetate) and naturally occurring cardioactive glycosides (digitoxin, ouabain) to human serum albumin was studied using equilibrium dialysis, ultracentrifugation and gel filtration. 16α-gitoxin was 75% bound and its 16-acetate 95%. The percentage binding of digitoxin and ouabain was in good agreement with values reported in literature.

Notes: [Auszug] Oestrogens given in physiological amounts to ovariectomised female rhesus monkeys increase the sexual behaviour of the pair, whereas injections of progestins antagonise the effects of oestrogen7. Testosterone given in pharmacological amounts to ovariectomised females both increases female sexual ...

Notes: Abstract The reactions120Sn+72 MeV18O and122Sn+74 MeV16O were investigated with time of-flightΔE-E-telescopes. Data are presented for all quasi-elastic reaction channels. The two neutron stripping and pickup reactions (18O,16O), (18O,20O) and (16O,18O) are analyzed in detail. It is shown that these heavy ion induced two neutron transfer reactions proceed with essentially the same type of selectivity as the corresponding light ion induced reactions. The differential cross sections for transfer reactions leaving the120, 122Sn nuclei in their 2+ first excited states are shown to be influenced by interference effects due to additional inelastic excitations.

Description / Table of Contents: Summary In this study the problems produced by congenital absence of teeth are considered. A group of 241 persons with missing teeth of the permanent dentition are described. In this condition certain teeth are not formed and others grow but are reduced in form and size. The large scale of the material examined allows a detailed phenogenetic analysis to be made of the variance of certain characteristics.
Abstract: Résumé Les auteurs traitent ici des problèmes relatifs à l'hétérogénie des dysplasies dentaires héréditaires.
