Notes: Aqueous solutions of (NH4)2MoS4 have been investigated with Ar+ laser excitation, at frequencies which span the visible absorption spectrum. Enhanced values of the anti-Stokes/Stokes intensity ratios for the fundamental ν1 and overtone 2ν1 show that the Nafie et al. theory accounts satisfactorily for these observed ratios.
