    Abstract: Zusammenfassung Es werden zwei Vorverarbeitungsanlagen beschrieben, von denen jede vor der Spektralanalyse verwendet werden kann, damit der Spektrumanalysator keine unklaren Blutgeschwindigkeitswellenformen anzeigt. Es werden wichtige Einzelheiten des Schaltkreises dargestellt.
    Notes: Abstract Two processors are described, either of which may be used before spectral analysis to allow unambiguous display of directional blood-velocity waveforms by the spectrum analyser. The relevant circuit details are presented.

    Notes: Abstract The ultrasound carotid vessel imager uses a continuous-wave Doppler flow detector on a hand-guided position sensing arm. The directionally separated flow signals are passed through a two channel audiofrequency real-time spectrum analyser to a microprocessor-controlled image memory and display. Transducer position defines memory address; image data (16 intensity levels) is set by the Doppler signal power detected within a preset broad frequency band. Early results are illustrated

    Description / Table of Contents: Sommaire L'appareil qui en a résulté, un pléthysmographe automatique à extensomètre à deux voies basé sur des techniques de mesure de résistance absolue, est décrit dans l'article. Il s'agit d'un apparei compact facile à utiliser, assurant un auto-calibrage inhérent pour n'importe quel extensomètre et quelle que soit sa longueur, qui effectue automatique la mesure, du cycle étudié et donne un tracé graphique annoté des données mesurées ainsi que les résultats qu'il calcule à partir desdites données.
    Abstract: Zusammenfassung Das Endresultat, ein Plethysmograph mit automatischem, zweikanaligen Dehnungsmeßgerät, der auf der absoluten Widerstandsmessungstechnik basiert, wird im folgenden beschrieben. Dieses Gerät ist kompakt, leicht zu handhaben, hat eine eingebaute Selbsteichung für jedes Meßgerät und jede Länge dieses Meßgeräts, führt einen automatischen Meßzyklus aus und erzeugt beschriftete, grafische Druckkopien der Meßdaten zusammen mit den Resultaten, die es aus diesen Daten berechnet.
    Notes: Abstract An automatic 2-channel strain-gauge plethysmograph, based on an absolute resistance measurement technique, will be described in the paper. This device is compact, easy to use, provides inherent self-calibration for any gauge and any length of that gauge, automatically performs the measured cycle, and generates annotated graphical printouts of the measurement data, along with the results which it computes from that data.
