Abstract:
Notes:
Abstract The osmolar regulatory system of body fluid composes a feedback control loop, which consists of the osmo-receptor, antidiuretic hormone, and the kidney. We accomplished the simulation of this system, including the renal excretion of urea which is also modified by ADH. The computation of this model revealed the characteristics of osmo-regulatory system. Among these, we discussed the significance of the signal derived from the volume regulatory system, which interferes with the function of osmo-regulation. Computations of the model also can be used to analyse the pathogenesis of the disorders in this system. Several examples of clinical application were discussed.
