The RAMAN and infrared spectra of H(CH3)2SiCl, C6H5(CH3)2SiCl, H(CH3)2SiNHSi(CH3)2H, C6H5(CH3)2SiNHSi(CH3)2C6H5 and the infrared spectra of Br(CH3)2SiNHSi(CH3)2Br und Cl(CH3)2SiNHSi(CH3)2Cl are reported and the frequencies assigned as far as possible. The SiNSi-valence frequencies and the approximate force constants of the silazanbonds show an increasing bonding strength with ascending electronegativities of the substituents. It is very probable that this strengthening is caused by amounting pπ-dπe bonds.

Die RAMAN- und IR-Spektren von H(CH3)2SiCl, C6H5(CH3)2SiCl, H(CH3)2SiNHSi(CH3)2H, C6H5(CH3)2SiNHSi(CH3)2C6H5 und die IR-Spektren von Br(CH3)2SiNHSi(CH3)2Br und Cl(CH3)2SiNHSi(CH3)2Cl werden mitgeteilt und die Frequenzen so weit wie möglich zugeordnet. Die SiNSi-Valenzschwingungen und aus ihnen berechnete angenäherte Kraftkonstanten für die Silazanbindungen zeigen, daß diese Bindung mit steigender Elektronegativität der Substituenten stärker wird. Dies ist sehr wahrscheinlich auf verstärkte pπ-dπ-Bindungsanteile zurückzuführen.
